Fans suggest songs for Kingston... - Tthip - 08-07-2004

From TheWhig.com:

Gord Downie Said:
He said the band may do something like having a place on its website where fans can suggest songs they’d like to hear or maybe win a chance to meet one of the rockers.

Confusedhock: Did some people send those emails we were talking about before?

That'd be great, and long overdue.

I wish you all good luck in getting some non-standards played, but be prepared to hear the "hits". Unless they leave the "hits" out of the list of songs you can vote for, I think it is inevitable that there will be a ton of votes for Little Bones, etc etc etc.

i'm voting for I'm A Werewolf Baby, just because it would kick ass to hear Gord do the "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

- thehiprock - 08-07-2004

Does Gord remember the words to "Evelyn." and "Werewolf Baby"!!!

perhaps it would be best to co-ordinate voting among us in order to make sure that at least a few of thing songs do make it.

my idea!!! OMG cant believe its getting this far!

If this comes about, we need a communal vote for "Pigeon Camera". That song is just so fantastic after a few beers, and I want to hear it live... just once...
