Just a shout out from an Ottawa fan feeling left out. Is there any plans for the hip to do their winter arena tour, as usual after a new CD is released, or are they assuming the extravagance tour is an appropriate substitute. There will be a few unhappy fans if thats the case.

Last I heard, the band hadn't decided if they want to do an arena tour. If they do, it will be in Febuary/March.
Why do you feel left out? You just had them in the summer at the Ottawa Blues Fest! The Hip haven't played Winnipeg in over two years!

Well, in speaking with Gord S. after the Regina 1 show (UNBELIEVABLE show, horrible crowd), he told me that they were undecided on whether they'd tour in the new year. He said that they were having a really good time and that the fans have been great, so they were still pondering the idea. 8)
Damn, a setlist from the Edmonton show...and meeting the band (minus Johnny) in Regina; it doesn't get any better for me than that! Have fun with the IVL tour everyone, it's a gooder!
