The "Fully Completely" I Ching?!? - lord brazle - 07-30-2004

Anybody know anything about this? I haven't read about this much. I've searched the hipbase for "ching" and nothing turned up so I don't think this has been brought up before... I also searched the net to see if this was mentioned before and couldn't find nothing. But I think it's kinda weird nobody has wondered or asked about this before....

So I'm gonna post this anyway and if ya already know this then let me know (or if i'm flat-out WRONG)

The marking on the back of the Fully Completely CD case seem to be of the I Ching, some Chinese Book Of Changes wisdom sort of thing going on. The only thing about it is the I Ching is sets of 6 lines and they alternate between complete or broken lines to mean different things. Anyway, the only drawback is that on the back there are 4 (symbols?) of I Ching and the two middle ones are separated.

Here I go...

If you hold the back of the CD in front of your face with the hinge up, they say or read:

Hsu - Waiting (Nourishment)

K'uei - Opposition

Hsu - Waiting (Nourishment)

If you hold the back of the CD in front of your face with the hinge down, they say or read:

Sung - Conflict

DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF I AM WRONG OR IF THIS IS ALREADY KNOWN?[/b]

It's bugging me.....

Whoh parden me? I would have NEVER noticed that. Confusedhock:

- cferneyh - 07-30-2004

Got me.

But I think your Screech avatar is the best one yet.

- dyersbay - 07-30-2004

Yeah how did you manage such a big avator?

- lord brazle - 07-30-2004

Screech? Hahahahaha I'm gonna stick with "Teenwolf" for awhile. Screech was entirely too big. You can link to an off-site image, Angie. It's right above the Gallery button in your profile, at the bottom in the avatar section. Surf the web and find an image, Google Image Search would come in handy for something specific and then right click on the pic, go to properties, copy the path of the pic... "http://ww.-----/whatever.jpg" and then paste the link in the box above the gallery button and voila.

As for the I Ching, I just noticed it today so I thought it was worthy to mention...

- dyersbay - 07-30-2004

Ahh o.k thanks! And yeah it is worth mentioning! Have you noticed any thing else like this on any of the other albums?

- lord brazle - 07-30-2004

Not really, except there's a poem of sorts thru-out the lyrics of DFN:

Metropolis noir
take a look at this photograph
book
make me feel
insanity
move through night
bemused
winter
in the dark
I'm helpless
with
space
we're
no longer
relevant
emergency
if there's glory in miracles it's that they're reversible

????? Confusedcratch: No clue...

OK, I'm gonna steal Screech then.

I loved the rumour that Screech was the Beastie Boys' Mike D's brother. That was funny.

Ahhhhh, that was classic, man!!
Screech is one of those guys that are cool but they're not, you know?
Like Teddy Ruxpin and Charlie Sheen.
Friggin hardcore!

I will always hold Charlie Sheen in the highest esteem for one reason and one reason only: Denise Richards.

Granted, she's slipped a fair bit since Wild Things, but wow. She knocked me on my be-hind in Wild Things.

what were you smoking when you noticed that? Confusedcratch:

Why do you say it's a rumour? I'm positive that I've heard both of them talk about being brothers.
