IBE Chords and Tabs - D-man - 07-08-2004

For anybody who's interested, I'm in the process of tabbing and writing out chords for most songs on IBE. I'll post them once I get more full songs completed.

There was a thread started about a week ago, and might be on Page 2 now, discussing guitar tabs...and some people included full tabs and links to tabs from IBE in various postings. That should tide you over until they're all done.
To any advanced Bass players out there it would be greatly appreciated if you could tab out some bass lines to IBE as well.

D-Man (aka my room mate) has been missing in action since August 5. He hasn't slept here, nor called, nor answered his cell phone, etc....

I went to his place of work to see if he was still coming in, and they said he was.

He just hooked up with a new girlfriend, so my only assumption is that he is spending every day and night with her; which is strange considering she lives at home with her parents. (I forgot to mention that D-Man is terribly irresponsible/forgetful/immature - by my standards for a 21 year old - and his MIA status, although it concerns me, is nothing new for him. However it is reaching a new level of bizarre when even his parental units are on the hunt for him.)

Spending the last two and a half weeks without a room mate illustrates that I should have my own place.

What a shock that would be, for him to finally return "home" and find me gone!

As I posted back on August 21, D-Man still remains MIA. I moved into my own place, and he moved his crap outta our old place, but we never crossed paths. 4 whole months without seeing a room mate is very strange.

I've never had the need to shave my ass; mainly because it isn't hairy.

As far as what I did to get "this degree of snubbage:

Back in November 2003 our community started a website. I was the administrator and regularly checked to see what traffic was visiting the site, and how they were being directed to it. Starting in early February I began to notice a lot of people were linking to the site from a livejournal.com users page. I decided to check out the source and discovered that it was my room mates page. As this is publicly displayed on the internet, I had a read of the most recent post. In it, he wrote many exagerrations and a few blatant lies about me, all formed to suit his story. I let it go, but checked the site a couple more times over the next few months. Every time I checked it I found more lies about me, painting a picture of me as this horrible, thieving jerk; so I confronted him about it. He broke down and started crying trying to mumble an answer about how he knew it was wrong but still kept doing it.

From that point forward, there was no more friendship.

We were room mates because of his brother, and I was doing my best to help out a guy who had had everyone else in his life abandon him. (His parents divorced and remarried. One set lives in Newfoundland, the other moved to South Africa just after he started university. He moved to Toronto, after failing out of university, to be with his older brother who would be there to steer him in the right direction. A month or so after he moved to Toronto to live with his brother and me, his brother moved out - leaving me with his little brother.)

Hopefully that provides a little insight into what kind of jerk D-Man is.

Chris, man, all I can say on this subject is that he is some lucky that you're a nice guy...

If I were in your shoes? I can't truthfully say I would've cut him slack as you did.
I might've seriously hurt the little dude.
