ISO Ego's and Icons -

Hello,
Loving the new CD and as always the Hipbase (You folks keeping me going here in Ohio)....Still looking for any other Hip fan here in Cleveland,
with no luck. Although my 18 year old nephew did mowe  "HIP" into my lawn when he cut the grass for me..I am not obsessed.
Anyway....my house was broken into last week and now that the dust has settled (credit cards, check books ect, DVD players now gone) I had a VHS of Ego's about the hip from MM years ago that was in my VHS/DVD
player now gone. I would like another copy if anyone has on VHS or DVD,
I can do a B&P
If anyone can help.. thanks

Hey Ajjay
I uploaded a newer E&I from a couple years ago to the Hundredth Meridian. I'm thinking though that the one you lost was older than that.
Hope this helps,

The older one was incredible. Right around the time of LBU if I'm not mistaken, with that incredible "Pisses Me Off" story, and the Edenfest footage with all the American bands saying that they really wanted to see just what the Tragically Hip were all about. Art Alexis from Everclear said something to the extent of "they're like the Beatles up here, and no one has ever heard of them in the states".
Correct me if I'm wrong, but was this the first Egos and Icons period?
As a sidebar, I'm pretty sure I taped over this by accident with the last episode of Seinfeld and the pre show marathon on City TV.
Cheers
Pat
