Well some of us knew ....and there were rumours... it's both tuff and satisfying to get the phone call that your friend who made it into the Club show tonight that is for Industry only and any hardcore fans that went on the hunch or a tip from someone :wink: ...... but again with a 2 week old son at home to pull off tomorrow night and Thursday is a miracle itself...
maybe I should be committed for even thinking of tonights.... Confused

i debated going down and checking it out after work, but without a car it its tough enough to do, and if there was no show i would have been pissed.

I will get my hip fix this week though, tomorrow and thursday...but it looks like tonight is the night to see them at the mod club...probably a setlist like the western shows i would guess...guess we will see in the morning :thumb:

Please don't tell it's for Hip Fans.. because it's not..

It's for Edge Listeners only! and the rest of Hip Fans.. well too bad.. Sad

Maybe this is why I never got involved with The Hip and just listened to my cd's..

Hey all

Tried but failed. Jeffro, thanks for the heads up. I'm glad the dates I had thrown your way were accurate enough. Too bad that it was for the industry, but still pretty understandable. The people at the door were cool -- they were only doing their job. Still feels like I was punched in the stomach being told I can't come in, half way through Vaccination Scar.

Enjoy tomorrow. I've resigned myself to the failure of sitting in the Sentra, listening on the Edge, with a Krispe Kreme and a smile (just like with the IVL show). See you all Thursday in TO and next Sunday in Wasaga. I'll be the one in the Joe Thornton jersey (I think -- I may end up in a shirt and tie insted.)

My friend called me after the show with the setlist I'll post it in the morning. I know 4-5 people who got in no problem... but these guys are total pro... show was a bit shorter and they opened with Grace Too!

Funny thing is if you check your Cell phone and see 2-3 missed calls after dinner tonight... it was me calling you about this show tonight!!!

Actually the 3rd song was Grace, Too. .....

Pretty standard main set with a 3 song encore (Beat, Fully and Jet). There was a 2nd 3 song encore planned (i.e it was on the setlist).

It's ok.. John Scholes was really funny yesterday on Q107.. He was talking about the *In Violet Light* Release..

Canada Day will be much better.. forecasted sunshine.. 28 deg.. Summer has arrived...
