Bookie had the quote of the day: "an Apple a day keeps the rock happening".
This was in response to Gord's responses during the interview which were probably the most spaced out I have ever heard from him.
The good questions are being saved for tomorrow night -- when does it start?

I listened on the net, and here's what I caught:
First of all, it was the two Gords and Paul.
- Sinclair: tough call on the election, did the advance poll this morning in Kingston
- Langlois: great experience in Seattle, great working with Kasper, hit it off with him, in a studio called Studio X, lived a couple of blocks from there, got it done pretty quickly, went to a Seahawks game against Cleveland
- Downie: took about a year to write and record, lot of things going on, album cover best represents whats going on, in the music a lot of things happening at once, scenes playing out in front of backdrops, backdrops always include tv sets, lots of tv news on in the background, the war is in there, the f-bomb is in there 7,8 times, "I tell my kids that swearing shows a lack of imagination so this record shows a lot of a lack of imagination"
Downie: VS video, brought the album artwork to life, populating bathouse, bringing characters to life, sort of like a wonderful/dreadful place
Sinclair: new stuff has gone over great so far, knew it would translate well to the stage, plays off the old stuff really well, so far the response to the album has been very cool
Sinclair: IVL was a fun tour, rediscovered a bunch of our older stuff, playing it with newer material is great, we have fantastic fans so we like to give them something new and unexpected and it makes for a better show
Downie: (about Heaven) we got up to whistler right when it all happened, set up our gear and played around the clock, reading the fallout of heatley and snyder, pretty interested, took notice of the things that were said, in the way of comfort of optimism, suggested making it for dan snyder cuz was greatful to him because of how the families handled it and clemency and foregiveness and things like that - thought the handling of it was a great thing - young boy, young soldiers dying, seemed like a natural song to write at the time
Downie: (on Thursday's opening act - Bookman was talking about how much he likes the dude) Downie - yeah, you guys could stand to play some of his music around here
Langlois: (on working with Robert Altman for the Something On video) concept/pilot for a tv series - we were the band in it - we never saw it - it never happened - don't think it was because of us - flew out to vancouver, got to meet him, excellent experience, given up waiting to see it but got to meet the man himself
Sinclair: serious touring effort in the fall, going to try to play every opportunity we get until then
Bookie was the interviewer - says "You Are Everywhere" should be the 2nd single (and then played it). Said he was saving his best questions for tomorrow night when they do an Intimate and Interactive type thing from the Mod club.
