The Bear here in Ottawa is having their very own "World Album Premier (and how they can claim it's the World Album Premier I don't know)" Sunday at 8 PM... I am not sure about the timing.. I went to Y108's *In Between Evolution* Listening party.. and Big D said.. being a Hip Fan as he is ?? he is disappointed because averagely each song is 2 to 2.5 mins long :wink:

This album I really think is for Hip Fans and The Hip themselves.. one of the first updates at thehip.com in Feb said.. 'We had fun' :lol:

Can anyone tell me when The Hip became an Alternative Rock Band?

I still don't understand.. The Edge connection to The Hip? In my books it's always been Q107..

I ripped this to wav today off The Bear and started to save it when my computer crashed. Unfortunately Sound Forge couldn't recover the file.

Did anyone rip any of the radio premieres from the last few days?
I checked the Hundredth Meridian but nobody has uploaded anything yet. I was set to upload the interviews before the crash.

I too was in the midst of recording and my friggin connection kept flickering!! Little 20 second spaces of nothing! I am so pissed... I listened to Heaven and heard Gus for the first time and then said screw The Bear (the radio station, you sick people you) I'll wait til tuesday...

I have a good CD copy of the Album Premiere downloaded directly from Sound Source that I got from the Radio Station I work at. This was the copy they aired.

I doubt I will have time to upload it before the album is actually released, but I can still post it to thehundredthmeridian this week if anybody is interested.

And no the album premiere did not play all the songs.

I'm still trying to get connected to the ftp. Unfortunatley I have to do it from work during the day as my home computer is down and I can never get connected. I will keep trying.

Usally during the day is better for me to get on......
I just tried right now ( 4:10pm EST time) and had no problems.......

I finally got it uploaded to the hundredthmeridan. Sorry but it is only divided into 4 separate tracks as I didn't have a wave editor to split it up.
