click on news and scroll down. If its anything like their first disc of the Mansfield, MA show 2003, this should be a great show to pick up

Awesome! I'll be first in line to pick it up.

These guys are still on the cutting edge.
I can think of at least one band who would greatly benefit from following their bootleg/concert disk approach.

Best...band...in the world....or at least tied with The Hip anyways.
A high quality version of this show is going to be awesome. I'm interested to see what direction these guys go in with their new album they'll hopefully record in the fall/winter.

Here is to agreeing SD, yes the Hip should learn a lesson or two from PJ. There is nothing better than going to their shows during the last two tours and knowing that you can get the show soon after in A+ quality on CD.

Yeah, I'd seriously be willing to pay upwards of $40 for a quality recording of a show I just attended... and I bet I'm not the only one. It seems like an opportunity lost over all these years.

I'm betting there are mountains of unreleased tape sitting in the Hip's vault at their studio in K-town. I don't know if this material will ever see the light of day, but here's hoping. The least they could do is put together some kind of double-disc rarites set like Pearl Jam's "Lost Dogs". Better yet, maybe we could get Eddie and the boys to phone the Hip and tell them about the benefits of releasing live albums, rarities collections and DVDs. Jeff Ament (pj's bass player) is a known Hip fan, so it just might work!

Pearl jam is by far, the best band to see live. I have been praying that eddies ramblings about a 10 stop tour this summer would show some truth, but looks like they are on their usual 3 year tour schedule

Sounds like they're going to play some "swing states" in the fall just before the election. They usually tour every two years, the Binaural/Riot Act tours are an exception. Hopefully they'll get in the studio by the end of the year and we'll have news of a tour this time next year.
