So what's up with this show now? We know it's June 29, at the Mod Club, and its an edge presentation. So only for edge members??? No tickets on sale at ticketmaster?? what kind of crap is this? I signed up to be an edge member, and now you have to "enter to win" tickets. A f'n contest now.....Name the title of the second Hip record. Do you classify the EP as a record? I put down Up to Here, but it could be Road Apples...Why only in Toronoto is a "contest", but everywhere else they're selling tickets on ticketmaster, or giving them away on radio stations......
My rant for today, maybe Gord could use it in on the 29th.

I know I found this disappointing as well, however on the bright side of things...I know that if tickets where available to us to buy I would do my best to get my hands on a pair. So that's a drive to Toronto on the 29th and than going all the way back to T.O. on July 1st. I guess it's a way to control myself! :lol:

I'm with you man, if tickets were available for sale, I would have definitely have bought them and had to make two trips to T.O. from Buffalo in a matter of days, but to tell you the truth I would have done it in a heartbeat. But your’re right it’s a good way to control myself.

no offense guys, but do you really think they had us in mind when they set this up? worrying about people making two trips in a few days?? Doubt it. If its going to be a contest, do it within the hipclub, not the edge.....geez

I'm still expecting another Toronto club show announement, as per recent Hip Club emails.
from last Thursday's "Club shows for List Members" email:
"In the next day or so, we will be providing you with details on a Toronto
club show and another major Canadian city club performance. Once again, tickets will be made available for sale exclusively to those of you on this list. Watch your inbox for details.
from last Friday's "Vancouver Club Show" email:
"Stay tuned next week for the Toronto show info. Have a great weekend".

I agree with that totally! It should be through the hipclub. If they do release some tickets for us to buy I will try to get some tickets. But the drive would suck! I hate too how the letters from thehip.com almost hyped us up about the T.O. show and than come to find out that it's only for edge members. :roll:

Whether we get another TO club show or not, we are VERY fortunate to live in this general area. We already have Darien Lake, Amphitheatre and one TO club show...with probably a few more dates to come, before this tour is over. Counting the days to July 1!

I dont think there is anything to complain about since there are many hip shows in the near future around this area. We already had our chance at hip club tix for canada day as well, and the hip would greatly benefit from an edge show. They get to broadcast there show live and get it out to the public before the new album hits shelves, and they wuldnt get this kind of publicity anywhere else.
It could be alot worse, no? :roll:

29th is contest and the 28th unannounced maybe for Hip club members via ticketmaster. Plus some of the seats for 29th may be released... but much closer to the show.......
