I am sorry. It started off as a joke but then everybody started believing me. "The Pants A-Fire"?? As in "Liar, liar, pants on fire..." So if people seriously thought I was "somebody famous" (I never claimed to be famous), then i figured I'd fool around. Now people are calling me asshole and saying it was a "cry for help"?!?! Okay, it's obvious I'm no longer welcome here. At first, I though I'll just get rid of my posts (i was angry) so it was like I was never even here... 150!? So i just said screw-it. Look, I think this is the coolest site I have found anywhere on the web... The people here are awesome and hilarious but if I'm not welcome after a stint which only started off as a joke, then I'll leave. The last thing I wanted to do was upset people... I'll be a die-hard Hip fan to the very end and I may even come on here as I do to keep up on the news (and see what funny shit Stephen Dame will say next :thumb: ) but this will be my last post... Sorry everyone... This seriously got way too out of hand. (I just voted myself off the island)

...And how come everybody mentions me in their "resigning in disgrace" statements... first Nixon, then Cpt. Kangeroo, and now you... I'm hexed.

Why is it? things like this happen in forums dedicated to Rock Bands?..
Believe me I have seen it all.. This is one of the reasons why I started my site.. to aid some fans that have had problems in forums for bands.. I figure when there isn't much news.. fans get restless and bored and start taking shots at each other.. This is why I thought my forum was a good idea.. Soooo, many bands to talk about, there's no reason to ever get bored.. and since starting my forum, it's taken off famously with all the younger upcoming bands, that many of us generally have never heard of.. and they all have cd's and are playing all the clubs of Toronto.. It's been really fun..
I guess everyone, should just stay 'in tune with the music'.. Isn't this what really brings us all together? To celebrate very fine music..
I for one, love reading here at the HipBase.. I think everyone is so coool 8)
One more note.. if any of you are in bands.. Please come to my site and feel free to start a topic in the name of your band.. give us the link to your website.. let us know where you are playing etc.. This forum is designed for Band Promotion :wink: and is for everyone and it's middle ground for everyone.. Bands, Fans and the Media..

I was joking around on another thread and everybody started thinking i was somebody famous (which i never claimed) but because people believed me (which i thought was funny) i started playing around with the notion. then when i told everybody it was a big joke, i started getting called names and $hit and everyone was saying they didn't want me here. so i got all pissed off and started deleting my posts... but i ain't leaving now.
