I was just curious if anyone knows if there will be an opener for this small club tour? Was there an opener for the small shows when IVL was released? I was super fortunate to get two tickets to the show in Edmonton. I am so excited!!! Being from Saskatoon, I have never seen the Hip in a small venue and I have always wanted to. Anyhoo, I was just curious about the opener...

Oh yeah! This will be my tenth Hip show. I am so stoked!

If there's an opener, I'm guessing it'll be Joel Plaskett Emergency.

Usually, if there's an opener, it's a small local act; one that's available on short notice and whose travel costs the Hip won't have to subsidize.

So don't expect JPE except in TO.
