You are afraid to be infinite.
It is hard for you to see that you are not seperate from me.
The "Hip Show Presence" is that 'feeling' we all get when we see them Live. Sacrilage, eh? What if you felt like that everyday. Is it possible?
You and I are capable of experiencing "The Hip Show Presence" in any situation. Yes......Even before the show starts.
Why are you so devoted. What are you afraid of losing. Find what is real. Keep doing what you are doing....It will fall away eventually. Only what is True will stay. This is only an invitation to wake to yourSelf.
What do you think the Hip are trying to say...... In Between Evolution....where do you think they are going....?
My question remains..... Who are the Tragically Hip?
Why catch me a cab, when You can take me there yourself..!
If you come with me, who will stop you?

Well I love em becuase they are some of the nicest people I've met, right up there with Lanny Macdonald. If you ever met them Josh and I presume you havenot or wouldn't be writing all of this, I had some pretty wild preconcieved notionz aboot them before I met them, now I see them in a toatl diiferent light. They are just people like me and you, no better no worse, flawed, they get stinky armpitz like you and me if we don't bathe. but i have to say Gord has an Aura about him, some folkz just radiate light and he's 1 of em,not to say that the otherz don't,they all have this great vibe about them that makez you wanna be around them. I for one felt re-born after those 3 glorious dayz and nightz in 99. I love that they give of themselvez to charity, i know its kinda cliche that the famous do this but I still think it cool. I love how honest the music comez across,its so honest infact that alot of the time it can over whelm the explorer in us, cause thats what we all are in 1 way or another, we are continuosly bombarded with so much bullshit in this life, that when something so pure comez along we are sometimez dumbfounded by it, we know its real,you know its real, all those feelingz stirring your soul about the imagez it conjourz for you. Just keep on keeping on Josh, all of us here are all on different levelz when It comez to fandom, but on the same journey to the same place. were all drawn to this music for 1 reason or another, some just got there little pinky toe in their ocean,otherz waist deep, otherz just jumped onto the wave. keep posting your thoughtz man,we all need to be heard,like Gord says "Everythingz relevent", well maybe he dint say but it seemz appropriate. And about the denial thing,my sis-in-law alwayz says when we feel compelled to judge people its cuase we can identify with that very thing in ourselvez. but hey man pobodys nerfect......
