Jays are in Oakland tonight, Barry Zito's curve ball is DISGUSTING. It's like something out of a video game. It drops from space. Give it a look during intermission.

Blue Jay fan here, to bad they lack depth at pitching.

I think they will trade delgado before the trading deadline and get a bunch of young prospects for him.

I remember reading before the season start that he recieves something like 35 % plus of the total team salary. Its just to much

I've always thought baseball would be much more entertaining if they cut the amount of games in half, and turned the playoffs into a 16-team free for all. Any team in the majors can lose twenty games in a row, and it might not even matter. Too many games, lower fan turnout. Playoffs races are decided way too early in the year, teams know they've been eliminated at the All-Star break. It's a thought...

An in a point of interest: Today, June 4 1838, the first "actually recorded" organized game of baseball was played in Beachburg, Ontario, Upper Canada.

I added the "actually recorded" for all you Abner Doubleday fans out there! :lol:
