Help with KB's - dyersbay - 06-03-2004
Hi all,
I just have a question that I am hoping someone could help me with. I am trying to change my picture and I keep getting the message that your picture must be less than 7kb. I have tried everything I can think of to lower the KB's but still it won't work.
cratch: Does anyone know how to lower the KB's? Thanks for any help!

Try saving it in a different file format. GIF instead of JPG. And make sure that the resolution is 72 dpi. Anything more is just a waste for the internet.

I think too, if you have picture editing software, you can reduce the size of it and/or crop the picture. I have had to do that for a few avatars on various forums.
