my vote would be Somethin' On...got very little attention on both much music's...and the radio barely touched it.....cool video to a great song as well!!

Well, it is not a "single" but I think an underrated Hip tune is Emperor Penguin. Also, I listen to a live version I have of Sharks all the time.
It has a very "trippy" Pink FLoydish vibe to it. Really takes you away.

Put It Off....again, not a single, but by far their most under-rated tune, maybe even my favourite Hip tunes some days...I heard Gord D. wrote it?

i'd have to go with apartment song or eldorado...both are masterful, and underrated<--(i think)
(not singles, just songs)

Hmmm...I'll go with Sharks, Vapour Trails, and Chagrin Falls :thumb:

Save The Planet...a very rockin' song done live. Also, Thugs is a classic.

My god there are so many, but I will go with Stay and The dark Canuck.

I'm a big fan of The Darkest One...I'm not sure if it can qualify as underrated, but it doesn't seem to be as appreciated as it should.

The Darkest One - not a weak moment
The Completists - reminds me of Another Midnight
It's A Good Life - is a tune that I really liked from the beginning...and I always got the feeling other hardcore fans didn't dig it as much cause it was slower... but the lyrics I love and bobby's simple guitar is really cool with the lights they often chose when played live... funny I just watched the video on Launch the other day and really liked the video seeing it again. Paul looks so cool sitting in the chair in that white suite..collar up..

This is something that has been rambling in my mind..
Various Hip Song Titles have cropped up.. it's just a coincidental thing... don't know if it's worth mentioning.. however..
Wasn't the last Rush Album titled Vapour Trails?
Also, there is a new club in Cambridge called Fiddler's Green, is this not the title of a Hip Song?
Cheers! 8)

I totally agree with you. I love Good Life, especially live. It has a really different feel to it, but that's a good thing.

Good Life is a GREAT song and I also agree that Thugs is a classic. The song doesn't have to have a fast up tempo rocking sound to be a classic and Good Life proves that point to the fullest.
'forget yer skates dream', 'let's get friendship right, get life day to day', just CLASSIC!
