Propelled by raw, driving guitars and Gordon Downie's inimitable vocals, In Between Evolution features standouts such as "Vaccination Scar," "The Heart of the Melt," and the first single, "Summer's Killing Us." Produced by Adam Kasper (Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Pearl Jam).

Looks like they will release "summer's killing us" as the first U.S single

short - Kirk - 04-21-2004

The songs all seem extremely short to me. :?

Cheers,

Go to: www.rounder.com and search for tragically hip. The album track listing is there.

- Drez7 - 04-21-2004

Judging the book by its cover tells me that "Mean Streak" is going to be a kick ass song.

- macyme - 04-21-2004

where is ballroom, hopefully they changed the name.

the hip have been very slow or lazy on this album with regards to informing their fans, what's the point of being on their mailing list if we always find out the information from other sources.

- direwolf74 - 04-21-2004

13 songs. Wow! Can't wait to hear this thing. I too am wondering where Ballroom is, but the Hip have been known to change titles in the past, so I'm sure it's on there somewhere. Another interesting title is "If New Orleans is Beat". Perhaps this will be a sister song to NOIS? Hard to say.
Do we really have to wait 2 more months?? This is killing me.

............ - Ryan2 - 04-21-2004

Hey i know what your saying about the hip and giving out info -thats why i take it uponmyself to seek it out and share it - Im thinking ballroom's named was changed too.. Gus: the polarbear from central park is a great name - hopefully the albulm will be streamed online soon to hear a preview of each track.......

Cheers

I was thinking the same thing about the New Orleans is Beat.

At least the summer's not killing you yet. Wink

Can't wait for it either. Gonna be sweet. :thumb:

They have potential to be classics

Actually, thats strange...they already released Vaccination Scar here in the Buffalo area.....I wonder if it will be different elsewhere....

- gibbytime39 - 04-21-2004

has the release date been been made official....june 29th?? that does seem like a long time. i guess they jumped the gun {although i'm not complaining} with the release of "vaccination scar." if they put up song snippets on their page now that would be cruel and unusual punishment giving us a taste and telling us to wait 10 weeks more.
but i wish they would send out an update.

- Stephen Dame - 04-21-2004

I wouldn't worry too much about Ballroom, remember that Vaccination Scar was called "Life is Forgetting" on the Whistler setlists. So, BR could be anything...

So now the game begins: Which song is Ballroom?

- farmerdan - 04-21-2004

that should be pretty easy, i'm at work now, but how long is the mp3 of ballroom???

this should anwser itself
