Sarnia Bayfest Tickets on Sale Early -
Hugh23 - 04-11-2004
I was checking the Sarnia Bayfest website to see what time tickets went on sale tomorrow and found that they are on sale now. I just purchased four tickets for The Hip.
I went to the last Bayfest that The Hip played at and it was oversold and poorly organized. (The Hip played great, though). I was very disappointed with the concert facility, but I can't pass up the chance to see my favorite band so close to home. Let's hope things are better this time.

ok, quick question about credit card orders for this show. Ok, i just moved and never changed the address on my card. Well when ordering tickets, when they verify your credit card number, do they look at things like the address on the card and where i live now. just curious if anyone knows. Im not sure if this post makes sense.

I got my tickets! Chancellor, there are different ways to pick up your tickets, at Sam the record man in Sarnia at bayfest or you can have them mailed to you for $6. Um last time I checked a stamp was 52 cents so figure that one out. But you can pick them up at bayfest, so you should be able to get around the address thing. Hope that helps. :thumb:

Joe and I are bringing the boat up in preparation for our vaca up to Tobermory the week after, so we'll be there in Sarnie Bay Marina - right next to the grounds. You'll have to come by for a cocktail or two, or three, before the show, kAY?!!!! I'm so excited!!! :jump :jump :jump Gordie pooh I can't wait to see you!

 Hoegaarden? Is that beer? I'll hit duty free at the border and stock up on ample supplies  I love Sarnia's waterfront - they have the best Irish restaurant beside the grounds - Joe and I die for their Bridies (beefsteak pastry with lots of graaayveee....mmmm) and Keith's on tap. Can't wait! The guy (forget his name) works at the Marina and he's a major Hip fan - he saw my In Voilet Light cd last summer and told me about how, I think it was Gord Sinclair, was over at his girlfriend's uncle's house - something about some charity golf thing in town...anyway, it's gonna be an awesome time - hope the weather's nice!

hoegaarden is a great wheat beer, its pale in colour but really good to drink, it does not taste anything like the Macros@@t thats massproduced. Hoegaarden is a great tasting pint. It seems like to much work to drink from the bottle. U pour half the bottle into a class. swirl the bottle a bit, then pour the rest in minus a bit unless u want to drink the yeast at the bottom
