Kurt Cobain - hotmetal401 - 04-08-2004

Hey all

Anyone who feels like being emersed by grunge, Edge 102 in Toronto is in the midst of remembering the breaking news of Cobain's suicide. They also have an all new Ongoing History on Nirvana tonight at 6. Listen live at www.edge.ca

I'm sure a lot of us here really were hit by his death, in one way or another. For me, it took the Unplugged album to really get high on them. My twelve year old ears couldn't handle the feedback, they just wanted to hear the soul. We certainly got that on Unplugged In New Yor

Hip content: Paraphrased from Egos and Icons (GD talking about Don't Wake Daddy)
"Well, in Pennyroyal Tea, there's that line 'Give me a Lenard Cohen afterworld', and well, wouldn't it be funny if he came back as a dog... I mean, we all know what a one way ticket heroin is"

Cheers

Pat

Yea, Power97 in Winnipeg is doing the same...

That website is interesting, but I would say Kurt had suicidal tendencies. But we all know is "wife" is a nut...
