I just did a little searching on the web for some guy named Cameron from Kingston. Check this website out.

I was looking on the site. Go to 2003 artwork, portfolio 2 and it's the 11th piece of artwork down on the left handside.

That's really amazing stuff. I'm pretty impressed by this guy.
I'm really digging the whole image of this album so far with the song titles, the artwork, and what I am hearing about their new "sound". Sounds like this one's going to be a killer! :twisted:

It kinda gives me a headache. I think this album cover is gonna have to grow on me, maybe like Phantom Power. Although I have less optimism for this one. I am definitely pumped about the music though.

I share those sentiments, the artwork kinda reminds me of the Guernica painting by Picasso. All the distorted figures kinda weirds me out a bit. Personally, I loved the PP album cover!

I really like the new cover...
I contacted the artist to enquire about this piece, view some of his other work....and ask of course if any "prints" were available. In my email I congratulated him on being a part of the new Hip CD. Here is his response ...
I feel very lucky to be a part of the next hip record. Its been a very surreal experience as it hasnt even been a year since I have graduated college. I'm working on 3 other paintings to accompany the "in between evolution" painting as well as a portrait of the band. They will all be a part of the package. Unfortunately Universal records owns the copyright to all these images and I cannot sell prints. However, Universal may make a poster of the image which would be for sale eventually.
