There's a Hip song (or at least Gord Downie) that's been played quite a few times in the last month or two that I don't recognize. I think it's usually played in an intermission. Nothing from their first 8 albums, and I don't think it's from In Violet Light - what is it?

The song is called:

"Vaccination Scar" and is soon to be released to radio. This is the first single off of their new album, just finished (title as yet determined).

The album is slated to be released end of June.

Glad you liked it. I've been playing some of the other cuts here and there, to hear them in the big arena.

When I'm not spinning tunes for the Canuck faithful, I am the band's project manager, here at Feldman & Associates; we manage the band.

Forgot to add:
Some folks here at the Hipbase have contacted DJDave about the new tunes and received a response. Since he's the band's project manager, would he be a good guy to approach about the private show for Hipbasers? I've read that Mats is unavailable right now and that time might be of the essence in regards to planning this show.
