Yeah, that's my plan, but it'll be pretty soon, I was just wondering if the course is as hard as everyone makes it out to be.

I had a YZ125 back in the day. I was thinking of getting a street bike.

I just need some info on the licensing goes as far as M1, and is it possible to get insurance with it, and plates (in ontario).

Hey TheHip21,
I have been riding for a long time. Curently have a 2003 Honda VFR Interceptor.
Motorcylcles are a blast. If you have always wanted one, get one.
Now I have to put on the "Old Man" serious hat.
Motorcycles can be dangerous. Start small and learn how to RIDE before going and buying a new or fast bike. Getting a used bike will let you find out if you truly love riding or not without risking to much of your money.
Sportbikes are cool but scary fast, I have friends that have crashed because the power caught them off guard.
I don't know how much insurance is in Canada but for a young guy down here on a sportbike it can be crazy.
Sorry to preach, I just love riding and want everyone to have a good time riding. I hate seeing new riders crash and stop riding.
If you have any questions about bikes in general I'd be glad to answer your questions. I'm kinda a bike nut... :jump

Yeah, that's how I am feeling. Get an older bike. My brother in law said to get something from '89 and back and the insurance won't be bad. I am a small guy, so I need a small, light bike anyways.
Thanks for your advice.

From what I understand, insurance in Ontario is crazy..period. Couple friends and I took a road trip from Chicago up to Algonquin, rented 2 vehicles and i believe the insurance was 150 bucks US for a week, per vehicle.
