Big Sugar: A Tribute To The Life Of Garry Lowe - NWOntario - 12-29-2018

Anyone else there yesterday? It was really, really awesome - wonderful sense of community and musicianship and lots of wild collaborations.

Examples:
- Edwin and Jag Tanna, "The Scene"
- Chris Murphy, "Wonder Woman" (I believe - it's a new Big Sugar song)
- Tyler Stewart, drumming and singing "Turn the Lights On" and then singing "Dear Mr. Fantasy" and bringing down the house
- Maestro
- Dream Warriors doing "My Definition of a Boombastic Jazz Style" with Big Sugar
- LOTS of reggae
- Danko Jones
- Bedouin Soundclash (who I detest) doing, among other things, "Revolution Per Minute," which (in fairness) Jay Malinowski recorded with Big Sugar
- Safwan Javed from Wide Mouth Mason, though not, sadly, Shawn Verreault

Great night, great band, great musicianship!
