Emperor Penguin outlasting NOIS is the most Hipbase thing that has ever happened.

This is getting ridiculous.

Finally NOIS bows out. I only had to vote for it 5 times. These last few rounds will be much tougher now.

Emperor penguin is a very good, almost great song. In no way is it better than three pistols.

E. Penguin is amazing. That outro. I vote 3 Pistols.

Listening to Emperor Penguin reminds me of who I am now (a family man) and Three Pistols reminds me of who I used to be... a shaggy haired teen who could thrash away to Road Apples and head-bang without getting an instant headache. EP has a more mature 'grown-up' excitement to it. Three Pistols is a youthful slice of high voltage/raw power rock n' roll. For me it's a choice between being comfortable with where I am now vs. a nostalgic longing for youth and the band the Hip used to be.

Emperor Penguin = best album closer in their catalog

Grace Too = best album opener in their, and pretty much any other, catalog
