Excuse to quote High Fidelity aside, the reply about Wait So Long from further down the thread was interesting to see. I believe, previously, there had never been any indication it had been recorded for any album, let alone thought so high of that it could have been a single. Just makes it that much more interesting to me that it was seemingly dropped like a bad habit when Up To Here came out.

he added 'A year earlier than UTH we had demoed it for Capital w Chris Wardman. We got an absolutely magical performance of it. At the end of the take the engineer said ‘one more time exactly like that and I’ll turn on the tape this time’. It was never as good as that 1 x and we moved on'

eeeeesh. this has me majorly stoked to finally get to hear the cutting room floor.... but scares me that i procured these LP editions too early.
hopefully they will just release a rarities comp and not a full on reissue campaign.
