Last summer, my buddy re-burned IVL with all 14 tracks and loves this song. I thought it was cool but it didn't really click for me until last week, when I started pulling out some of the unreleased stuff in preparation for the new album. Absolutely should've been on IVL.

Aw, you know I'm joking. I've gotten Hip lyrics wrong before! And when it comes to unreleased songs, where lyrics sheets aren't available, even more so. I still sing along to songs like Work That Hard and If You Lived Here without knowing every word!PS - The whole fake fan thing was kind of an inside-ish joke...us Haligonians started laughing about it while we were bored waiting out back of the Marquee for Gord to sign stuff.

.... The Hip have always included lyrics for their album releases, I wonder why they haven't posted these ones?

I did a search here and found most of those lyrics.
There were some lines not transcribed, so I picked those missing ones from other posts.
The line sounds like 'technically shaken' to me but I don't know for sure.
I guess it's easier for me to sing it like that

Yeah I did! LOL! After we met him and he signed my cd we went for a few beers. Then I was all , "aw crap, I should have given him a kiss! let's go back! :jump " so we did and he was already on the bus, all the other fans had left. I pounded on the door and yelled to mr. bus driver "let me see him for ONE second! PLEEEEESE?" he shook his head no, shrugged, and pull out into the Detroit night....*sigh*
