Trying to seed a Hip show on STG - grooveless touque - 02-20-2004

I seeded a show weeks ago and in the upload torrent window, last time I used the URL of the announcement thread as the "torrent URL" but now it's not letting me do that. I have no idea why. I also tried entering <a class="postlink" href="http://tracker.sharingthegroove.org/track/tracker.php/announce">http://tracker.sharingthegroove.org/tra ... p/announce</a> in that slot like it said to, but again it wouldn't work. And that's what it said to do!

I already did...many hours ago. In fact, I asked in the thread where I announced the torrent because I figured the people reading my thread would be the ones most willing to try and help me, since they obviously want the show! Nobody replied.

Lance, right in the torrent uploader it tells you that the correct address for the torrent's URL is <a class="postlink" href="http://tracker.sharingthegroove.org/track/tracker.php/announce">http://tracker.sharingthegroove.org/tra ... p/announce</a>. I am entering that precisely as it looks into the slot and it won't work. Am I supposed to be filling in information within the address that is specific to my torrent??

Why the hell did they have to go and change it...last time I did this it let me use the announcement thread's URL. Sad

To hell with it. I tried to bump, looking for help, and it told me I can't post in that thread anymore. I have no idea why. I am going to delete this show from my computer and leave seeding shows to other people.

It was going to be Pittsburgh (IC Light Tent) 1999. If you want to seed it that would be super.

If you do end up doing this, when you upload the torrent to STG, PLEASE tell me what you put in the "torrent URL (mandatory)" field.'

wait, the torrent URL is the url of the post on the site that you make for the torrent...

That's what I thought! I copied the address of my announcement thread right from the address bar and pasted it DIRECTLY into the torrent URL field. It wouldn't work. I assumed they must have changed the protocol or something. I tried it many times and it just wouldn't work.

Now for some goddamn reason I can't even post in that thread to let people know what's going on. It's been locked!!
