Here's a short conversation with Rob, had on Tuesday afternoon. He mentions that the Hip have a double album worth of unreleased material.

Really hope they release that material, and more live material. I noticed on their website that the Live from the Vault series is no longer available. A shame, because I'd like to eventually get some more of those ones.

I hope they left a little extra room in those storage boxes for the albums they plan to release.

It's been a brutal week. Just nothing any of us ever wanted to see.

Saying that, hearing this news from Rob is a bit of a silver lining.

Knowing an album or two might still be out there...that's cool. That's something to be thankful for.

Was driving in to work this morning. 97.7 was playing Wheat Kings. It sounded great. The sun was breaking as it played.

Made me stop and think for a minute.
