Chanie Wenjack: Short doc by Will Downie - direwolf74 - 08-13-2017
Came across this on Youtube this morning. Never seen it before. It was made by Will Downie (Gord's nephew?) for his grade 11 class, and features interviews with Gord and Mike.
Towards the end of the piece he asks Gord if he thinks he'll keep making music, and Gord reponds with "I do. Until my last breath".

That ending tho. (Gord chuckling as he performs dying in the middle of saying " 'til my last breath".....).

Made me very happy to hear that. He's going to go out with his boots on... no better way to go!

That's exactly the image I thought of too--with his boots on. "A man outstanding in his field".
What's the Margaret Laurence novel--is it the Stone Angel? where she end the story in mid sente--
