Gord on Coach's Corner - clarke - 04-19-2017

Spotted sitting with Bobby Orr in Boston at the hockey game tonight.

Glad to see him out and about. Hadn't heard anything in a while. No news is good news I guess.

"You said you didn't give a fuck about hockey
And I never saw someone say that before
You held my hand and we walked home the long way
You were loosening my grip on Bobby Orr"

Great to see Gord!

Gord celebrates a Bruin goal at the 18 second mark of this video ( that unforunately gets disallowed due to an offside appeal )

Seeing Gord at the Bruins game made me instantly regret cheering for the Sens. Damn you, Gordie!

It truly warms my heart to see Gord cheering against Ottawa. Yes I know who his Godfather is and know his connection to the Bruins, but nonetheless, Sens hatred is so beautiful in any form Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

Leafs fan 1st here...but also an Ottawa fan. NOT a Bruins fan. Seeing Gord I had the same reaction, "Ah, man, now I feel guilty for wanting to Boston to get destroyed by Ottawa. I just want to Gord to be happy."

Seeing this makes me happy...

It's good to see him out on the town and enjoying himself. Love the standing ovation from the crowd.

It really is. Gord has always been a pretty private guy, so I have to admit that I fully expected he'd pretty much go into seclusion with no one knowing how he was doing. Almost seems like he is seen more in public now than he ever used to be. Either that, or its just the media paying more attention to it and it just seeming that way.

I thought when he walked off the stage in Kingston last summer that would be the last we'd see of him. All these sightings keep me optimistic.
