I liked and unliked that page in about a week. Kind of got tired of reading lyric posts in my feed every 5 seconds.

I've always found it interesting how uncomfortable Gord looks when he joins others on stage. Illness probably compounds this, but I've seen him join a few bands on stage over the years and he never really looks like he knows where to go, what to do with his hands, etc. Opposite of how he commands the stage with the Hip, which makes me consider how much different "onstage Hip Gord" and "regular Gord" are.

Yup...it's pretty insane and creepy how obsessive some are on there...There is a fine line between being a big fan and...creepy.
I am still part of the group, but turned off all notifications and hid most of the stuff from my feed. It took over my feed for quite awhile..

I find myself posting there usually when really infuriated (rationally or otherwise) by something that's posted (like when people are buying bootleg CDs and are too stupid to realize they aren't official) or moderately intoxicated (such as last night's post about the version of Meridian from the 1997 Concert Hall secret show video recently posted to YouTube).
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I'm really glad this board's still here. If for no other reason than that Emperor Penguin post.
