Wanted - Tea Party Drumhead - WillyB - 11-08-2016

I know this is not Hip Merch, but thought Id throw this out here.

I am looking for The Tea Party drumhead that was signed by them from their most recent album. It was sold as a bundle with T-Shirt, Album etc.
Has the Album artwork on the head.

I have Hip stuff to trade, posters, Vinyl and other goodies.

Thanks

4 threads in the merch section in your first couple of weeks. Welcome to the forum!

Sorry to burst your selling/trading bubble but I doubt that any of us have:

- I Mother Earth memorabilia
- Tea Party Signed drumhead
- A copy of TATH or LBU for you (to flip?)
- A now for plan A poster (to flip?)

Best of luck on your search.

Re: Wanted - Tea Party Drumhead - WillyB - 11-08-2016

What's wrong with IME and the Tea Party?
Are you saying I am the only fan here on the forum?
I like to buy, sell, trade.
Does that make me a flipper? Maybe sometimes.
But I'd guess I'm not the only one that does that from time to time.

Re: Wanted - Tea Party Drumhead - Scotty12 - 11-08-2016

Nothing wrong with them at all, nor am I saying you are the only fan. My point was you joined recently looking for the rarest and most valuable vinyl, and now a couple of random items for other artists.

After figuring out you had numerous freshly acquired hip items listed for sale elsewhere, my guess is that the items you are looking for are so you can sell them. That is why I called you a flipper.

I Mother Earth was my fav band from 8th-10th grade. Then I woke up a bit and discovered TTH

Re: Wanted - Tea Party Drumhead - WillyB - 11-10-2016

I Mother Earth's Musicianship is the best in the business, hands down.
Say what you want about grade 8, it goes deeper than Another Sunday or One More Astronaut. Not sure how much of the catalogue you truly explored with a comment like that.

Well, I was moreso a fan in the Blue Green Orange and Quicksilver Meat Dream stages.

The Quicksilver Meat Dream is my favourite IME.

Re: Wanted - Tea Party Drumhead - WillyB - 11-10-2016

Quicksilver is their best in my opinion. Also most underrated. Could never understand how that album did not break through. Lack of promotion I guess.
I preferred Brian over Edwin on vocals.

Anyone want to talk about The Hip ??!!

Re: Wanted - Tea Party Drumhead - thedarkcanuck - 11-11-2016

I have some signed Tea Party stuff including a drumhead, not willing to part with any of it though. I got the signed drumhead and vinyl via their pledge music fundraising campaign. I got the drumstick signed when i got to meet them after a show. Jeff was a cool dude, he invited us on their bus for a beer and I got to have a bit of a bonding moment with him off the bus

I think his comment may refer to the fact that this thread is in the 'Hip Merch Discussion' subgroup.
