IME x OLP tour - WillyB - 10-29-2016

Just saw I Mother Earth and Our Lady Peace in Ottawa last night.
10th time seeing IME now. Amazing talent.
Had VIP tix so went backstage for a short acoustic set by both bands in a small room about the size of my bedroom. With 20 other VIP s and a stocked beer fridge.
Amazing.
Anyone else see these shows?

I saw the show in Oshawa on Saturday-

I had a good time - all the bands put on a pretty good show.

From where I was sitting though, IME was way too quiet until they played Levitate 2nd last (could hear lots of people talking over them), and Raine was off for the first four songs or so - but he rallied and put on a good show. It was almost exactly the same show when I saw them last time, and even the lights and such were the same though, so I'm not sure how likely I am to pay to see OLP again.

I would go see IME and Edwin in a club show again though - I think I'd like it better if they were louder so I couldn't hear hockey mom conversations about the price of equipment during "Not Quite Sonic".

I went to the London ON show, it was an amazing performance from both bands. Also it has to be said technically the show was perfect, the sound crew, lights and venue setting was on point.

Nostalgia got the better of me but I very glad I went, hearing Edwin sing those early IME songs was a highlight for me Ive seen them live as early as 92-93 ish and they are as tight as ever.
