I've been wondering about the tunings for a couple of Hip tunes for a while now.....Eldorado, and Cordelia. I'm speaking of Paul's guitar part in Cordelia - is it standard tuning, or some kind of open tuning? Same for Eldorado - listening to the live version from the Fully Completely reissue live disc 2, I'm wondering if it is also in an open tuning. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Pretty sure Cordelia is DGDGBE. Don't know about Eldo

Cordelia is open G tuning as mentioned above- not sure about Eldorado- but I am also looking for a list of their tunings....any help would be appreciated- Boots and Hearts is also open G- Fiddlers Green is open E.

Hi, I am sad to admit that I have only just discovered Hip recently, and some Canadian colleagues are very helpful in contributing to suggestions to a great playlist of their music. I am also a beginner guitarist, and trying my best to master Wheat Kings. However, I can't find the definitive strumming pattern written anywhere. Can someone help me out? In the meantime, my long drives to and from work are made shorter by the Hip.....thanks.
