Nominate Gord Downie as Poet Laureate of Canada - jrdskinner - 08-14-2016

In light of recent news, and the intensity of the subsequent shows, I was looking for a way to give a little something back. I may be tilting at windmills, but we managed to change some minds about the CBC broadcast, and this is the best idea I've had.

If your life's been touched by the poetry of Gord Downie then please sign the petition to have him instated as Canada's Poet Laureate, then spread the word!
