Any old henhousers? - schlorf - 08-07-2016

Just got reconnected on hip base. Long time TTH fan. Heading to Toronto for a couple shows. I can't wait! God bless the TTH and their fans.

If I remember correctly, just after Day For Night came out (and pretty much when the interweb was a premature baby), I seem to remember a forum or chatroom that was ran by The Hip. Can't remember the name of it, but I am pretty sure I remember signing up to it and posting once in a while.

Does anyone else remember something like that? Jebus, that was over 20 years ago now, so maybe I dreamt it in my alcohol induced university days.

Are we talking about the alt.music.tragically-hip newsgroup? ... I recall spending a fair bit of time on that

Ha. I remember the newsgroup as well. Little black dress and all that.

Yes, that was it. Glad to know it wasn't all in my head after all! LOL

EDIT: Ha just did a quick search out of curiosity, seems like it hasn't been used since 99? Go figure? LOL
