The most logical location would be RMC/Fort Henry, site of Across the causeway concert in 2004. A relatively short walk just east of the Krock center

Another option could be where they host the wolfe island music festival, cut off from the south of this photos.

Last but (certainly!) not least - construction on Richardson stadium on Queens west campus scheduled to complete in Sept. ~8500 seats not including the field.

Most other locations "in" kingston couldn't accommodate the huge crowds a free show would draw.

Great idea, but I can't imagine the logistics around a free live show -- I could see some sort of outdoor viewing party in that downtown square.

City councilors were posting on the facebook event page that the outdoor viewing party w/ video screens is being discussed.
