I subscribe to 'Consequence of Sound' on facebook.
They have been posting every single little thing about Radiohead, and it's been annoying as hell.
Yes they are a good band, but I don't need an update every time Thom Yorke sips tea. /rant
Go Radiohead.

Pretty underwhelming so far, I think....might've been their manager blowing expectations up saying things like "it's like nothing you've ever heard" or whatever along those lines. Also that 5-year gap leaves a heck of a lot of want.
The videos sure are cool though.
Sunday'll be a good day.

LP9 = A Moon Shaped Pool. Elegant collection of songs that flow beautifully into each other. Its heavy on synth\keys, and well dressed by stingy guitar work and amazing vocals by Mr Yorke. Standouts for me are Identikit, The Numbers, and the everlasting True Love Waits which I first heard live in 2001. Album features strings on a few songs esp The Numbers which I believe is coming from JG who's been collaborating with major symphony companies around the world. Not for everyone but definitely for me.

haven't had a chance to hear the whole thing yet. that Decks Dark has a cool OKC vibe. TLW's sounds gorgeous. though i still prefer the acoustic version. the fact that they never really throw songs out and that this one has finally be recorded and released 15 years later, gives me hope that Lift will eventually be out ever since i first saw them play it in '96! that song still has such potential

The new album is definitely growing on me. I wasn't a big fan of King of Limbs, but this one is a nice bounce back record, at least for me. I really like the organic instrumentation with all the strings, piano, keys, and acoustic guitar. Not to mention how great Thom's voice sounds. It's a really cool record. Part of me still wishes they'd crank up the amps to 11 once in a while and rock out more often, but they don't seem interested in revisiting that sound much anymore, and I get that. The fact that they're constantly evolving is what I admire most about them.

i just want to heard ed's atmospheric stuff more to the front. and less orchestration.

First three albums are back to back masterpieces.
Lost all interest after that.

I lost interest around the time Amnesiac came out. But then I heard In Rainbows in 2007 and did a complete turn-around. That record is incredible. The new one is pretty damn good as well.
