Kingston & Question - MountainHip - 08-13-2002

As I am from Kingston, my friends say they are playing at the "Grand Theatre" in downtown Kingston, it's been anounced, but only locally. I forget the date.

Question: how many REAL rare performnces are there. I think there are many.

For example I attended at concert a Richardson Staduim in August '93, I never kept the ticket or anything because I was only 13. anyhow - this concert is not listed on the net anywhere for example here, nor at killerwhaletank.com.

any thoughts??

I saw a completely private show by the hip on Thursday December 9th 1993 at the Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto. It was a benefit for The Friends of Brian Eagle and special guests were The Pursuit of Happiness. It was an excellent show where they played Emergency and Fire in the Hole prior to the release of Day For Night.

I also went to the Martha's Vinyard Hot Tin Roof show on Tuesday August 25 1998 which was the smallest audience they'd had in about 10 years (about 250 people). That will never be topped!

They played Emergency? Cool. That'd be the only known performance, as there are no records of it being played in the shows that were taped. They apparently played Fiddler's Green at one gig and one gig only (I think Gord said this in an interview), but unfortunately it doesn't seem to be recorded.
