I was on amazon this morning looking to order Fully Completely on vinyl, scrolling down, I saw "Dougie Stardust" by the Tragically Hip. It lists a pre-order date of March 11th. I then googled "Tragically Hip Dougie Stardust" and a whois site was a result showing the site registered to the Hip back in August. Is this the new album name? First single? Or something completely different...

If this is true, then that's a terrible album title. But it's new Hip, so I'll let it slide. It would be amazing if they pulled a Wilco. I'm really curious now to see if they actually do this. Let the speculation begin!

Kind of a bummer if the band wanted this to be a surprise and it's leaking out. Hopefully some tour dates are announced with the release on Friday, or shortly after.
Interesting title for a record. Maybe it's the name of a character in one of the songs.

New Tragically Hip!!!! Crazy title with an obvious David Bowie reference. If it's the album title it might imply a "return" to a more traditional rock and roll album. Serriosly, how could you name drop one of the greatest rock albums ever recorded and not put out an ass kicker?
