The Headstones are making a new record. No bullshit.
We’re cutting out the middleman, and giving you back the band. With your contribution, you will officially kickstart the machine. This will be the most authentic rock and roll experience in terms of recording and releasing a record. Ever.

I just e-mailed a few friends ... $10,000 is by no means ridiculous.
If you could rent out a joint and get a measly 350 people, that's less than $30 each.

I just put in a pledge for the CD...for now. Some of the stuff on that list is incredibly enticing. The house party gig would be the coolest thing ever.

update from the studio…
We have finished laying down our individual parts for the record, and over the weekend, we will finish recording all of the vocals. That means we’re that much closer to getting you the finished record! While you’re all enjoying the holiday season, we will also be taking some time off from recording, to spend time with our friends and families. We will go back into the studio in the new year to start the next step of mixing the new album.
We wish you all a very happy holiday, and all the best to you and your families for the new year.

As mentioned on their Pledgemusic page, the new album has been mixed and mastered, and they're now working on the artwork/packaging. It's officially in the can. Can't wait to hear it!

I pledged on the signed CD right when it was first announced. I've pledged on a few bands and artists in the past and really love the Pledgemusic/Kickstarter model.
For some bands I'd pledge a whole bunch more, for the right item!

Excellent album! My only complaint was that he re-used a bunch of songs from his previous album with the Redemption Choir, and so we really only got 6 new songs on Works Well With Others. But that's a minor quibble. I love Hugh's songwriting, and anything the guy puts out is pure quality.

The new record is officially finished. We tracked, we mixed, we mastered… artwork for the record and for our Pledge merch items are being created… Exclusives are being designed, manufactured, written, and signed.
