Anyone know the best Hotel to stay at, close to the Aud in Kitchener?

Not sure what your price range is, or if you are wanting to do anything prior or after the show. I'd say the Walper Terrace or Delta are your best bets. They are a few blocks from the aud and close to some pubs and restaurants in the down town.

Any good watering holes near The Aud?
We're coming in from London for the show and want to have a few drinks before the show.

You can pick just about anywhere for a few drinks before the show. Either in Cambridge Kitchener or Waterloo. The Aud is only 10 minutes from the 401 and highway 8.

Umm.. If you don't mind a 10 minute drive for a 'watering hole' then the 'The Huether' is an amazing craft brewery in Waterloo. And shouldn't be incredibly packed on a tuesday.
As for places to stay.. well I've never stayed anywhere in KW other than my rundown student house on Columbia St. I imagine the Waterloo Inn would suffice.

Waterloo Inn is a great place, very nice but a bit farther from the venue. But totally great place to spend the evening. Plus there is a notell motel on highway 8 old king st. just north of the 401 across from Costco basically. also at highway 8 and the 401 is the Fourpoints hotel, great franchise. at highway 24 and 401 there are 3 brand name hotels. best western and futures inn and super 8
all of the above places are just 15 mins from venue at most.
