Help A Fellow Hipbaser Out! - GordsGal - 09-20-2011
Wow, haven't been here for a while (life has been crazy-busy) but did manage to see the Hip at Bayfest this summer
Anyway, I entered American Express Canada's Room for Thought Contest on FB and my entry MUSIC MENTORS made the top 3!
My idea involves high school students teaching music lessons to elementary school kids (who otherwise can't afford them).
You can read more about the contest & my idea here: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://soapparent.blogspot.com/2011/09/music-mentors-all-kids-should-have.html">http://soapparent.blogspot.com/2011/09/ ... -have.html</a><!-- m -->
And you can vote here: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="https://www.facebook.com/AmericanExpressCanada?sk=app_231725600186410">https://www.facebook.com/AmericanExpres ... 5600186410</a><!-- m --> (my entry is the third one under the music tab & is called Music Mentors).
Thanks!
Niki
