Gord reference in comic book - arseface88 - 09-18-2011
I don't know if you guys are aware of the Scott Pilgrim Versus the World movie that came out a while back, but it's based on a comic book of the same name. I was just reading one of the books the other day, and in it Scott and his friends are hanging out and listening to a Gord solo album, and talking about how he is a "sweet genius". Based on the timing of when the book was published, I think they're talking about Coke Machine Glow. It's a good series, by the way, and set in Toronto, with lots of Canadian references. Just thought I'd mention it.

That is pretty cool.
Here are some scans of the comic: <!-- l --><a class="postlink-local" href="http://hipbase.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=15599">viewtopic.php?f=28&t=15599</a><!-- l -->
