Hi friends,

I thought that I would plumb your knowledge concerning the newest/oldest guitar in our house. Just inherited a late 70s early 80s era les paul copy hondo ii from a family member (yes, way too many adjectives in that sentence). He doesn't remember what year he purchased it. Basically, we're trying to figure out if it is worth fixing up and putting some time into, or if it should just be kept as a nostalgia piece. Here are some photos:

Never heard of Hondo before, but...

I'd think that it would be a real pain in the ass to fix up - especially if it's been sitting in its case stringless for years, the necks probably warped to shit. That being said, it sure is a pretty looking thing.
