There's been a lot of talk about everybody's favorite Hip tunes but does anybody care to shed some light on their least favorite Hip tune(s)?
I'd like to see whether certain tunes re-occur like they do in the favorite tunes topic.

I'll start by mentioning Titanic Terrarium and 700ft Ceiling...

Butts Wigglin' and Coconut Cream...

I can't remember the last time I didn't consciously skip over them while listening to TATH...

Maybe I ought to "rediscover" them?? Maybe not...

Terrarium??? No Kim!! It's one of the most lyrically perfect songs he's ever written, and it's just so haunting! Am I the only one???

For me it's Stay, never liked it, it just doesn't do it for me.

Hmmm...I thought about what you said and decided to give it another couple of listens and I have to admit I think you're right, there's something about it... so I take back what I said before.. :oops:
I'll replace Titanic Terrarium with Butts Wigglin' like Mike said... that one doesn't do it for me either. Although I like Coconut Cream Big Grin

I agree I love Terrarium, but for me as much is i love TATH i always seem to skip over Butts Wigglin, Apartment Song, Coconut Cream, i'm also not the biggest fan of As I wind down the pines.

I am not really a fan of Evenlyn either. Stay ahhh Cry that's one of my favorites.

My least favorites are...hmm. Coconut Cream and...Lionized. I don't know why...I keep thinking that I *should* like it...but I never do.

Coconut Cream (the riff is ok but what the hell is Gord talking about, besides the obvious?)
Are You Ready (just a very bad song on an otherwise awesome album and definitely the worst "first-song-on-the-album" of their 9 studio releases)

....but I won't skip over either of them when listening to TATH or IVL.

Lionized?? One of the best none popular songs by far.. great speed and sound to it.

I think Coconut Cream is one of the worst songs ever written, lyrically and musically. It's such a terrible shame that the Hip CHOSE to commit it to record for all time.

Beautiful Thing? Cry that's one of my all time favorites...there's just something about it. Maybe it just speaks to the girlie girl in me, lol.
