Rediscovering hip songs - Jenna_Bird - 11-20-2003

Hey all.
I just put in IVL since it has been out of rotation in my cd player for awhile, and WOW...I had forgotten how much I love "A Beautiful Thing". Does anyone else have a "rediscovery" to share? I know mine in kinda weak, since it comes from the most recent album...but oh well. Big Grin

Yes I do, at the NY show the song that the hip played leading into the New Year was Long time running. It was then, that I realized how much I love that song. I had always loved it, but had not heard it in awhile or if it was playing I didn't really pay much attention to it. But now everytime I hear it, it trasports me back to that night. :wink:

yawning or snarling is the most underrated song in the history of the world!!!!! Ok maybe exaggerating, emperor penguin is a close 2nd

The Bear is my massive re-discovery song. When I first heard M@W I would have put it 13th on the album, but now it's my 2nd favourite song.

Also came to like after a while: Cordelia, Sherpa, Put It Off, Escape, Save the Planet...

I think the songs that take the longest to grow on me are hte ones I like the longest.

Hey all,

My rediscovery song is get back again. I know it's an oldie but damn is it haunting. A close second is so hard done by. They did some awesome stuff when they were younger.
