Phish - jkdiamond - 03-12-2011

Anyone here pick up tickets for the phish summer tour?

Grabbed the 28th and 29th in Bethel Woods, going to try to grab for the Ohio show on the 6th tomorrow hopefully.

Any other hip basers heading down?

I've heard rumblings that SPAC might be announced. Was hoping for a Watkins Glen announcement, but since it's the same weekend as the Hip concerts at Downsview, it's looking unlikely that I'll be going there. If they announce a Red Rocks concert I might make every effort to drive out there. Need to see a concert there before I die. Ticking Woodstock off that list this summer, so why not Red Rocks next.

Tour dates are supposed to be released today.

My newest favourite band better come within a couple of hours of me.

Have become a Phish addict over the last 1.5 years.

i made the pilgrimage to red rocks this year to see tedeschi trucks, doyle bramall and sharon jones
the place is out of this world amazing
there's a service called "bus to the show" which is like a party bus there and back from denver/boulder. $25. worth every penny.

I'll second that. Haven't been able to see them since 2013, but I would be very happy for a Canadian show. Montréal is close enough to Vermont that it could be a hometown gig, right?

I bought a few albums and really gave them a chance, but I really just can't get myself into Phish.
I've got: "Billy Breathes", "Farmhouse", and "A Live One".

Can anyone (sean?) tell me what I'm missing (other than electric lettuce)? Maybe suggest a few songs that aren't on those albums to check out?

You're not the only one. I have given them many chances over the years and especially with satellite radio also.
I just can't get it. And I love many, many musicians.

Just watched one of the many many webcasts from this year posted on YouTube would be my suggestion.

Wrigley Field shows this summer had a great run.
