Reception suggestions? -

Getting married next month and want to play some Hip at the reception, of course. Any reception-appropriate suggestions as to which tunes? I have my favorites on the list, but interested in other fans' suggestions. Thanks!
The bride says no to "Fireworks." I wonder why?

not realy great dance tunes for a party... use them as dinner music...

Silver Jet? It always makes me want to dance, and I secretly think it's romantic in some weird ambiguous way.

Sherpa should set the tone nicely...

"It's A Good Life If You Don't Weaken"
The lyrics are appropriate, and after a couple of good stiff drinks you could probably slow dance to it.

Bobcaygon will get quite a few people up on the dance floor. Its a great slowdance.
New Orleans is Sinking will get a good crowd up there to dance too.

I just wrote an effin' exegesis on why Hip tunes don't as a rule work for weddings and then I accidentally deleted it.
In sum, my conclusion is that only In View works and that is what makes it so truly detestable.
We had a live band (The Dave Murphy Band) play Blow at High Dough at our wedding, and it was amazing.

I agree.
In View is about the only Hip song that is dance floorish plus it would mix well with the Chicken Dance.
