Gord and TCOM should probably be playing small indoor shows. It seems that their songs don't translate well in an outdoor setting.

I don't think it's an issue with the songs but rather the crowd. I'd wager that a lot of folks are there thinking that they'll hear Hip songs. As well aside from The East Wind most in attendance have probably never heard any of Gord's solo work.

Thanks for the vids!
I was front row centre and I must say that the sound quality of the videos doesn't do the band justice at all. Gord sounded great and the band was also very good. There was a small group of fans near me that were singing along to all the words and were clearly Gord/Hip fans, but the rest seemed oblivious to the songs. Being front and centre was great for my gf and I as we didnt have to see any bored fans in front of us and could just enjoy every note!

I met Gord after the show, and he said basically the same thing, that he was excited to be able to play more variety for the shows in the fall.
